DYNAMIC PROCESS ANALYSIS

A dynamic process, on the other hand, is a workflow or sequence of events, which is built to achieve the same end goal as a structured business process, but is more flexible. These

processes are less regimented with predetermined steps to take, and more oriented in flexibility and taking on degrees of uncertainty. A good example of an area that should use a dynamic process is marketing. This is because marketing is always changing with new societal norms and innovations, so the process to appeal to the most people has to be constantly changing as well.

The specific dynamic process that we will be discussing is marketing. Marketing is supported by various social media information systems (SMIS), but for the sake of this we will discuss Instagram in particular. Here is an example of LuLuLemon company using Instagram for marketing purposes:

An Enterprise Social Network (ESN) is a private online platform that makes it so that employees in an organization are able to more easily communicate and collaborate with each other. ESN’s are generally kind of like a social media environment. They are specifically designed to entice internal networking, sharing of data, working together, and building a sense of

overall community for the sake of becoming more efficient and effective as a company.

Enterprise 2.0 refers to the adoption of Web 2.0 technologies inside the corporate environment so that

things such as internal communication and team collaboration can be further enhanced and expanded.

SLATES is an acronym that references the six key characteristics of Enterprise 2.0 platforms. The six key characteristics are as follows:

1.     Search: The ability to search for necessary information or expertise within the organization.

2.     Links: The ability to create and share links to data between members of an organization.

3.     Authorship: The ability to create, edit, and have multiple people contribute to content, which futhers knowledge sharing between individuals of an organization.

4.     Tags: The use of tags for the sake of organizing data accordingly. (Perhaps alphabetically, for example).

5.     Extensions: Third party applications or other types of plugins that may be used to give more access.

6.     Signals: Being able to receive notifications, updates, etc., about events that are impacting the job.

Lululemon takes security quite seriously and ensures its community that safety and security is a top priority. While being such a prominent business in today's popular athleisure society as well as being one of the most renown companies in society today, it is possible as well

as common to experience concerns throughout social media. These concerns can range from a negative review to a data breach exposing millions of consumers.

Lululemon addresses concerns with action and then reassurance to its community. As a current employee we are trained on how to navigate issues brought in through technology and information systems. In regards to SMIS security, Lululemon has a large employee base of highly intelligent individuals who work to create extreme blockages. Regular employees maintain safety throughout the systems by using verification systems for each individual employee and consumer. If a breach occurs we are able to remove all emails from our system further removing all saved information.

In terms of social media in regards to employees we are not subject to certain rules.

Lululemon thrives in promoting individualism as well as being your true self. Though employees are encouraged to maintain a kind persona as that is who they are hoping to have employed regardless. Occasionally Lululemon does request employees to promote things going on throughout the company. The most important task for employees is to refrain from posting intel or discrete information. This act will result in the zero tolerance policy.

Inappropriate content and unfavorable reviews are not very common as Lululemon primarily has a respectful crowd. In terms of unfavorable reviews, Lululemon uses this as a chance to better what is being criticized. As stated, inappropriate content is not very common, but a recent video had gone viral on Tik-Tok describing how to shoplift from Lululemon stores.

Lululemon responded by forming a new policy as well as maintaining their status of being inclusive.

Computer hardware is any of the physical components of a computer or electronic system such as the CPU, hard disk drive, and RAM (random access memory). Hardware components also include input devices such as keyboards and mice, as well as output devices such as monitors and printers. Those examples are primarily what has been considered hardware over the past few decades, as the use of personal computers became prevalent. However, as technology has advanced, the definition of hardware has expanded to include tablets such as iPads, as well as phones which have computer processing capabilities. Hardware components perform tasks according to the instructions conveyed by computer software programs.

Lululemon utilizes a large amount of hardware throughout their day to day tasks. Some of these include inventory scanners, terminals, BBRs, and a POS system. These forms of hardware have been deemed effective. The POS determines points of sale including all areas, the BBR allows SFS and BOPIS orders to be fulfilled in one step, while the inventory scanners keep the BOH and Floor organized with each singular product.

In terms of Customer Pickup Lululemon utilizes the BBR to complete the orders and stores the orders within a small comportant below the registers. Their amount of storage could be enhanced. The BBR as explained above gives customers the ability to ship from store, pickup in store, and order online while also allowing employees to track all existing orders of all forms.

Software is the set of commands that tell a computer how to execute tasks. The resources of each computer are controlled by an operating system (OS), which is software that gives instructions for functions such as reading and writing data or opening and closing programs. The OS works with other software programs in order to assign resources that allow the application software to perform specific tasks. For instance, the OS accesses executable files that give the

command to open a program such as Microsoft Excel. It also controls hardware components such as the keyboard and monitor that allow the user to create a spreadsheet in the program.

Lululemon utilizes the POS to determine various information by combining all movements of the product. This software keeps all upper level management informed on goal as well as percentages in ACE and revenue.

Virtualization, a practical technology involves creating a virtual hardware version, running systems, storage devices, or network resources. It allows multiple virtual instances of these resources to run concurrently on a single physical machine, enabling more efficient utilization of hardware and improving scalability, flexibility, and resource management.

Virtualization comes in various forms, each with its unique applications and benefits. Server virtualization, for instance, is a robust approach that splits a physical server into several virtual servers. Each server operates independently with its operating system and applications, ensuring reliability and enhancing server management. This approach also enables seamless scalability and disaster recovery. On the other hand, desktop virtualization abstracts desktop environments from physical devices and hosts them centrally for remote access. Finally, PC virtualization allows a single personal computer, whether desktop or laptop, to host multiple operating systems concurrently, facilitating diverse computing environments. These different types of virtualization cater to a wide range of needs, making them versatile and valuable technological tools. Lululemon does use virtualization technology in the form of application, administration, network, hardware, and server virtualization. All in all Lululemon is deemed a fully virtualized company.

Lululemon does use open source software in terms of their website which allows any and everyone to view products, employees, and ongoing information. This information is available through the web, but becomes more exclusive when viewed through the Lululemon Application. This App is free of charge and provides the ability to become a member which accesses more open-sourced information.

Several transformative technologies with unique capabilities are reshaping industries and societies.
